AWARENESS: This is why I have embarked upon this photographic project. I want to honor the women I have met all over the world and bring their story to you in a compelling fashion.
Currently, I am featuring women from India, Ghana, Kenya, Mexico and Peru. I want these images to illustrate their strengths and beauty even though they face many challenges; hunger, economic hardship, lack of access to adequate medical care, and mental and physical abuse. I want you to feel the commonality of experience that we share with women around the globe.
Human rights for women and children must exist for everyone living on this planet to have a better life. Our interdependence demands this. That is why we must be “Our Sister’s Keeper”. I support the Carter Center project for human rights for women and children and dedicate my work and this site to spreading awareness to my viewers and uplifting my sisters.
Know that as you are viewing these images with thoughts of love and goodwill, you are setting positive changes into motion for their lives and those of other women around the globe.
PLEASE TAKE TIME TO VISIT THE SITE BELOW. Join me in supporting their work. The videos you will find there are deeply moving. Please share this work with others. Adding your voice to the project strengthens us all. We are ALL Our Sister’s Keeper. http://forumonwomen.cartercenter.org
